Success User Created Variables
Posted on May 1, 2018
Variables have always been useful for data like address, lot size, number of units, or any other salient information that might be repeated throughout a report, as report authors have been able to populate variable fields throughout the report by entering data once in the Variable Replacer tool.
Now, users with Senior Reviewer roles or higher can create custom variables to be used in any report section, including tables, from within the Variable Replacer tool. Once the variables are added in the tool, you can build them into your language library for use in future reports. In addition, with the new Persistent Variable feature, variables can be updated multiple times during report writing and will even remember they are variables when imported into future reports!
